Tribute to an American 🇺🇸 Hero

On September 9, 2022 Route 72 from The Lancaster/Lebanon County Line through North Lebanon Township is now The William G. Carpenter Highway.  Bill who served in The United States Army was awarded the Silver Star for heroic bravery during a 1962 combat mission in Vietnam.  Bill was a long serving President of Cornwall Borough Council and Lebanon County Commissioner.  Congratulations Uncle Bill, you are truly a man of service.
